Sixty early childhood centres nationwide are taking part in a professional learning pilot programme funded by the Ministry of Education, based around information communications technology (ICT).
Growing from the Foundations of Discovery framework (MOE 2005), the programme aims to inform effective use of, and investment in, ICT in the ECE sector.
The Auckland Kindergarten Association has six kindergartens participating in this programme:
- Bayview Kindergarten
- Favona Kindergarten
- Greenhithe Kindergarten
- Onehunga Kindergarten
- Takapuna Kindergarten
- Yendarra Kindergarten
